Wonderful Winter Days Are Writing Opportunities!

Just think about that for a moment. When the weather is inclement, why would you want to be out there unless you absolutely had to be? If you are one of the lucky that don’t have to be, then why not continue pursuing your writing desires and endeavors?

I am fortunate to be self employed for over three decades thus far, but that doesn’t always work out for me to be able to get some writing done.

I started writing back in my teens, then throughout my time in the United States Army, but that fell along the wayside while I was in college, and for almost the first 20-25 years of my self-employment.

Then an unfortunately accident which required me to get over half of my right foot amputated in 2015, put me in an opportunistic position to get serious about my writing dream again. What could have been seen as a potential tragedy turned quickly into a triumph.

When These “Opportunities” Occur for Us, We must “Grab the Brass Ring”!

With me being laid up in recovery for several weeks, and then back to limited work after that, instead of feeling sorry for myself, I chose to grab that Brass Ring!

I got down to business writing again, and even when I was much better, it has never stopped since that time!

Bermuda's Secret in Paperback

Aside from my Bermuda’s Secret Series which I completed in about 2019, I have written several “stand-alone” books, and have also started a sequel series to the one above.

For all of you budding authors out there, if I can do this, then so can you. You don’t have to wait for a tragedy to get that writing aspiration to spring forth and grow some fruit!

Even a dedicated 15-30 minutes of writing will definitely get you on the road to where you wish to be!

Don’t Take My Word For It! Try It Yourselves! You Just Might Be Pleasantly Surprised!

Until next time, everyone KEEP WRITING!
