Use Your Writing To Take You Away From Troubled Times!

What a great excuse to get some writing done, and allow yourself a brief respite from Reality! With so many troubling things going on in this world, why not let your writing take you away from the turmoil in the world for 15 to 30 minutes?

Not only the relaxation that would result, but the productivity that would or could be achieved would be phenomenal, and it would also propel you on your writing journey, as well. As an added benefit, you could escape reality if but for a little while!

What a Great way to decompress! If you have not started writing, then I would suggest that this is THE ideal time to start!

Believe It Or Not, a Mere 15-30 Minutes A Day Will Get You Off The Ground As An Aspiring Author!

Think of all the potential you could accomplish as a writer by sacrificing the time of a typical and usually idiotic sitcom to write in your new book!

Doing this task daily would be very beneficial to your writing efforts.

I used to write on legal pads long hand to get my ideas down.

hand-written manuscript

I have piles of those handwritten notes and papers in briefcases. I did this for a few years after I got started writing in earnest after a 25-year hiatus from writing while my Locksmith business was thriving.

Eventually those got transcribed and proofread on the computer, and I printed out binders full of typewritten manuscripts too over several months.

The above image is only a portion of those typewritten manuscripts! This just goes to prove that small amounts of time daily add up in a hurry–faster than you think!

If I Can Do This, Then Anyone Who Wants To Be An Author Can too!

The finished result of my first Bermuda’s Secret series is below:

Bermuda's Secret in Paperback

There are 15 volumes with 4,277 pages! I am proud of this first series! The second one is underway, but other obligations have gotten in the way of me gaining as much traction, but I will soon double-down on that too!

With the world situation seemingly deteriorating at almost every turn, we must make the best use of this time to get more writing done! Time is finite, but circumstances might not be. We can always hope for the best, but we also must prepare for the worst!

Don’t Let Your Hearts Be Troubled, But Instead, Get Some Writing Done!

If you do this, you will certainly be glad that you did! I wish I would have worked on my books from my youth to now, but I can only lament that I did not! Nevertheless, better late than never!

No matter how you decide to do your writing, keep moving forward!

Until next time, KEEP WRITING!
