I used to procrastinate more than I do now.
Thankfully, I have finally gotten into a daily groove in my book writing, along with my daily blog posts, and my work as a locksmith. Most days this works out quite well, but there are some times, when it is a bit tedious.
Below is an example of a word document that I keep open on the computer to write words and snippets down on during each new day.
I keep that word document open all day and every day, Because it allows me to add things all day long. The editing portion will come later! The point that I am trying to make is that, essentially, we will have ourselves a book written in short order!
You all will hear me repeat this over and over throughout my posts here on this site! We must do the work in order to reap the rewards! I don’t believe that 15 minutes (at least) a day is too much to ask everyone to squeeze into their schedule! It actually ought to be a lot more!
Once you have blocked off some time for writing, strive to write a little more each day!
If you can set aside 15 minutes, why not, for the next week, add an extra five minutes to that?
Keep doing this weekly and you might find that you have suddenly blocked off an hour for writing!
When we do this, we will find that we will get our books out there and published a lot faster!
It’s not rocket silence, but instead discipline and when it is practiced, it develops into a very good writing habit!
KEEP WRITING!
