What is the specified goal for an eBook?

Depending upon what we intend to use the eBook for has a lot to do with the length of it and the subject matter.

For instance, for a landing page giveaway, an eBook could be as short as 3-10 pages. An easy to do free gift to get the reader’s contact info or something. The possibilities are endless.

I think my shortest eBooks are my image ones, weighing-in about 100 pages each with about 1,000 words of commentary. I recently purchased an eBook from a friend to help him out, and it was only 5 pages.

This, of course, is not the length chosen for the novels in my Bermuda’s Secret Series.

Those books can range from 178 pages to 400 pages depending upon the format. Ebooks are typically shorter than their paperback counterparts for obvious reasons.

I have yet to venture into hardback, but am seriously considering it in the future.

I am also currently writing another stand-alone book of different sayings and musings that I have used in responding to the comments on my blog posts in Wealthy Affiliate.

Wealthy Affiliate is an Affiliate Marketing learning platform that I joined back in 2017 as an answer to the Squarespace fiasco that I had when I essentially had zero knowledge about website contruction and usage. It is so much more than Affiliate Marketing. It has superb web hosting and stellar Site Support. It has massive amounts of classes on continuing education concerning internet business, and a vibrant community made up of like-minded individuals from around the globe!

An unexpected surprise is that blogging there has made me a much better author!

I find that I can now crank out manuscripts for future books a lot easier than before.

Remember, there are endless possibilities for eBooks!

You just need to determine what your goal is for the eBook, and then write that eBook for the specific purpose that it is intended for!
