As authors and even those aspiring authors, we always seem to have several book projects and ideas on the drawing board and in different stages of completion!

My new manuscript, as yet untitled has now passed 10,000 words and is around 34 pages long. I likely won’t even start to edit it until it is around 100 pages. I am currently adding 1-3 pages daily to it, so perhaps within the next month it will be ready for editing!

The good news is that you can do this too if you aren’t already doing something like this!

This can either be done when you have a full-fledged plan for a new book or if you are just adding things to a word document daily and waiting to see what you come up with! (The latter, this time around, is exactly what I am currently doing!)

We must choose or develop a method that works for us!

If you are already a blogger, like I am, then I feel it gives you a “leg-up” on others who are simply thinking about writing a book.

Perhaps you could become a blogger too! It is much easier than you think! I have been blessed with the opportunity to become a blogger since I joined a complete Affiliate Marketing course, hosting and educational platform called Wealthy Affiliate!

I believe that being an active member in this wonderful platform has really honed my writing skills, and besides, there is so much to learn daily as I interact with vibrant members of the community with a lot of the same goals that I share.

No matter what level that your writing skills are at, as long as you have the drive and desire, then you WILL become an accomplished author!

It takes a lot of hard work to write a book, and then after that, there is the seemingly incessant editing that goes on too. Nevertheless, when your work is finally published, the euphoric feeling is indescribable!

Put in the work, and then reap the rewards–it’s that simple.
