I am best known for my Civil War Sci-fi or Fantasy (whatever you choose to call it) book series that has 15 volumes in it. I have also written some other books, as well, but the series is my baby.

A little About J. Lynn Brown

Hello. My name is Jeffrey L. Brown and I was born June 28, 1967. I’m a Christian, married with ten children and 3 grandchildren. I’ve been married a few times, so many are my step-children who I helped bring into adulthood. They are still all my children to me though.

I am a Locksmith by trade, now going on 31 years. I am also a proud veteran of the United States Army, an avid eBay store owner of 20 years, and an author. The latter has been off and on, but I came up with the idea for Bermuda’s Secret at age 11. I even came up with several drafts of it. The original book was set off in the future (at least at that tender age 1997 seemed like the future).

The concept manuscript laid dormant for several years before I continued working on my book ideas in my early 20’s while in the Army, and after a lengthy hospital stay in 2015, began pulling everything together from all the previous years’ work to begin compiling my book series BERMUDA’S SECRET, and started seriously writing in earnest in early 2016. This series serves as the prequel to my original manuscript and story concept, chronicling the ancestors of the characters in that book that I wrote at a tender age so long ago.

I have long wanted to experience Amazon’s Kindle Direct platform as a place to introduce my labors of love to the reading world, so here goes. These efforts will be a long-running series as I’ve had my entire life so far to develop the primary characters and story.

I am writing under the name J. Lynn Brown which serves to allay confusion with another much more prolific and well known author named Jeffrey Brown. Initially, I had much shorter books in the series, but had then decided to offer novel-length books instead. For instance, in that 7 book series, each book contained 2-3 of the shorter volumes and had different longer titles. Bermuda’s Secret laid the groundwork for a continuing saga, and may be a little less exciting in places, but those parts are necessary for everything else to come together. The following novels continued the saga and all bore a subtitle of ‘A Bermuda’s Secret Novel’.

I since went back to the longer 15-volume series in eBook AND paperback form. (see above image).

I have also written a stand alone book called The County–a tongue-in-cheek book about excessive property taxes. In addition I am writing another series about my blog posts in Wealthy Affiliate–a platform I am a member and blogger of! I have three cloud and sun image books with commentary too.

There are also many other manuscripts in different stages of completion for other books, as well.
