Did I mention that I use images in my Blog posts?

If I did, I will double-down on that now! Images stimulate our minds and allows us to easily begin to write!

For me, this has been something that I have always attributed to my success as a writer and a blogger! I have also written three image books featuring clouds and the sun too.

Just like many of you aspiring authors out there, I have occasionally struggled with coming up with something to write about! That is, until, I had the epiphany of including images when I do my blogging. As the old saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words”, and that is exactly what I get when I include an image! Imagine what several images will do!

Below are just a couple of typical images. I write my daily routine blog posts around the images that I capture during the day.

Typical images for a blog post

There are also banners that can be used and pictures of my “Furry Assistants”(Kitty and the Blog Dogs) and their daily antics that allow me to outline my daily activities and what I am currenlty working on book-wise and website-wise. These are used primarily in my Wealthy Affiliate blog posts.

If you decide to use images, the possibilities are endless. I am barely touching the surface on what is available online to the budding author or blogger.

You can also enhance or edit your images with a vast array of programs online to do just that!

I personally use Paint 3D. I am accustomed to using it, and it has helped with a few of my images that I wanted to make a little better. There are websites like Canva and many others also available.

Can’t find a certain image for your purpose?

Never fear there, either. There are several places online where royalty-free images or low cost images can be obtained to suit almost any need. They can be easily found by typing either “Royalty-Free images” or “Low-cost Images”.

Final Analysis

You do not have to use images in the books you write, but I tend to use the odd one here and there for my literary books. If you are a blogger, I highly recommend to include images to keep the reader’s interest. They should also be relevant to the subject matter when possible.

There you have it, just my take on the use of images to help boost your success as an author!

Keep writing!
