Has this happened to any of you aspiring authors or authors? I can guarantee that it has! Not to worry it has happened before, and will occasionally happen again to all of us authors.
That is just a fact of life concerning writing, but it does not happen all of the time. Whew! Isn’t that good to know? What I will say is that it DOES happen to all of us at one time or another.
The main thing to remember is when this does happen to us, we must learn to shake it off, and get back down to business writing again! When my current important distractions are addressed, I will be doing exactly that!
The GREAT News Is That We Can All Do This! We Just Have To Discipline Ourselves To Do This.
We are able to carve ourselves out small segments of time to set aside blocks of 15 to 30 minutes of our precious time.
I had a little bit of advantage at one point in the past since I lost of one half of my right foot back in 2015. Since I had been writing back at an early age, but stopped after I got out of the United States Army, and embarked on my own business–that of being a Locksmith, though I never knew it at the time.
Twenty-Five years into the business at the time, when I lost a great portion of my right foot, I took the time to revisit my writing from when I was a young buck in the US army.
It was not easy, but it was definitely something for me to do to pass the time while begin laid-up for a bit.
It turned out to be well worth the time! That is my First Bermuda’s Secret Series, and I have written several stand-alone books since then, and already have one volume published on the second Bermuda’s Secret series! I still have a long way to go.
While I am not a multi-million dollar author, I have sold a few books here and there. It was just the thrill of it all! I have no regrets, whatsoever! Furthermore, I will definitely keep writing moving forward!
The GREAT thing is that all of us can do this, we just need to set aside blocks of time to do it!
For today, that is it for now, but think hard about how you want to proceed with writing.
