That’s what I told myself when my normal job as a locksmith had not produced any jobs. I am on the computer everyday anyway. so why not?

Aside from working on one of my latest book projects, I also decided to write this quick motivational post too! Time is a very scarce resource that we will never have enough of. I decided to use a little of that time to continue to propel myself forward, and to, perhaps spur you all along as well.

The wonderful thing is that you all can do this same thing too! I suggest that you do because every little bit that we write gets us closer to our goals of being authors! It all adds up in the long run. Believe me when I say this!

Better yet, try it for yourself! You might just surprise yourselves with what you are able to accomplish!

Never Think That You Don’t Have The Time!

Over our lives, think about how much time that we have spent watching senseless TV, the news, movies, etc. It is okay to do that, but you must find a way to carve some of that time out and put it towards your writing endeavors!

After all, I managed to do that too, and look at just one example of what I accomplished! I have written a lot more since that time! It takes discipline to set aside the time for your goals, but it can be done!

Once that is accomplished, it could soon form into a habit! Once it is a habit, then you can do it every single day! Think of the infinite possibilities!

Take a pen and paper, and jot something down.

Even better, use the computer–whatever works for you!

I get more done on the computer now, but early on, I hand wrote everything!

That was laborious, but it got the job done!

Ultimately, our goal is to be authors! We must do what needs to be done to achieve that goal!

CARVE OUT THAT LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO WRITE! YOU WILL BE GLAD THAT YOU DID!
