Time Is Ticking Towards My Fall And Winter Writing Projects!

To say that I am ecstatic is an understatement!

There are a lot of factors which will determine when I actually get started on the one major book project, and putting the finishing touches on a stagnant book project too that I want to get done this year.

When the weather turns bad here in Kansas during the fall and winter, that is the best time for me to write because there are far less distractions, aside from the holidays at this time of year.

I have some cursory notes that I have taken, as well as a tentative plan for how all of this will go. We will see how that all pans out.

Khaos in Kansas will likely be the title of my major book project.

I am motivated and excited to get ready to start working on this project. There is also a little trepidation in there too! So many plans that we lay out and get set up to go can often fall by the wayside at the drop of a hat, so we must remember that nothing in this life is guaranteed!

Plans are just a tentative blueprint, and they need to be flexible enough to still continue when life deals us a setback, as it often does. I am sure that ALL of us have suffered setbacks many times in our lives! Those setbacks tend to make us more resilient as we overcome them.

This especially applies to authors and aspiring authors, because the time that we can set aside to work on our various writing projects is critical and sometimes finite, but then isn’t time, itself finite?

We must set aside time for our various projects, and then at times, we have to adjust that time amount when it is either too much, or not enough.

It took a delay of 25 years for me to finally get my FIRST series of Bermuda’s Secret out, and I have plans for many more.

Will I live that long? Who knows, but we should always live each day one at a time. That is why I do not plan too much for the future, because it might never get here! Yet every single day that I wake up, I do a little more work towards all of my goals, including my passion for writing.

All of us should do this–life is not guaranteed, so keep pursuing those goals!

For authors or budding authors, we should attempt to set aside 15-30 minutes a day (the length of a sitcom) to write a little on our current writing.

That time adds up very quickly! You would eventually become quite surprised at how much writing and associated writing work that you could do!

Just Take Heed that Time is Finite. You can surely at least carve out 15 to 30 minutes a day to pursue your writing goals!

Believe it or not that would give you almost 200 hours of writing time per year, more or less, and you wouldn’t even miss a beat in your daily lives, but the feeling of getting some writing work done would be priceless, and could also serve as a GREAT motivator to keep going!

Just my thoughts on this day!

Until next time, KEEP WRITING!
